I'm a sound designer that is constantly searching for new perspectives on how to understand sound and the world around us. Being present in the moment and thinking about what is happening right now always reaps benefits for my sound design.

Working to build sounds from fresh source is always exciting, so I enjoy recording props or rendering out a crazy synth patch. I feel like as long as you don't give up and you keep going, you get to where you hoped you might get. Maybe you didn't take the direct route or even the scenic one sometimes but as long as you keep going, you get there.

I love building audio systems that are simple to implement but rich in their rewards. Building something that looks complex from the outside is great but it must seem simple to those who have to use it. Sound designers rarely appreciate having to perform quantum calculations before triggering their sounds!

I am equal parts a technical sound designer and a creative sound designer. In both realms problem solving exist and being able to connect the two disciplines has enhanced both experiences for me.

Above everything else, I just want to make everything I work on sound great!
